CORRIDOR RHINE-ALPINE – Annual Report 2016
Main Achievements of RFC Rhine-Alpine 35
User Satisfaction Survey
As in previous years RFC Rhine-Alpine conducted a User Satisfaction Survey together with all RFCs and coordinated by RNE to collect customers’ feedback on its products and activities.
Full information on the survey findings is publicly available to all interested parties on the website of RFC Rhine-Alpine and on the CIP.
The survey based on a harmonised questionnaire for all Rail Freight Corridors included the possibility to indicate an overall satisfaction rate as well as individual comments on specific topics. Whereas more than 75% of the respon- dents were rather satisfied with RFC Rhine-Alpine, espe- cially the very valuable individual comments will be used as incentive for further improvements. This is why the findings of the survey have been analysed in depth by the corridor management and concrete follow-up measures have been defined for the various working groups within the Corridor.
Cooperation with the Core Network Corridor Rhine-Alpine
RFC Rhine-Alpine continued to cooperate with the Core Network Corridor Rhine-Alpine which covers all transport modes. The CNC focus is on the coordinated implemen- tation of the TEN-T requirements and the financing of the development of the core network through CEF.
Representatives of RFC Rhine-Alpine attended all three meetings of the CNC Forum in 2016 under the lead of the European CNC Coordinator, Mr Pawel Wojciechowski. The main subjects discussed were the second CNC work plan, the update of the project list and the mapping of the projects as well as KPIs.
The Chairman of the Management Board of RFC Rhine- Alpine also participated as a panellist in the dedicated CNC Rhine-Alpine session during the TEN-T Days in Rotterdam.
For further information on the cooperation between CNC and the ExB of RFC Rhine-Alpine, please see chapter 5.
