Main Achievements of RFC Rhine-Alpine
Marketing activities
RFC Rhine-Alpine was present with its own stand at follow- ing events. The stands had been coordinated with all RFCs:
TEN-T Days in Rotterdam, 20 – 22 June 2016
UIC Global Rail Freight Conference in Rotterdam, 22 – 23 June 2016
3rd EU Rail Freight Day in Vienna, 9 December 2016
The chairman of the Management Board and the manag- ing director of RFC Rhine-Alpine represented the Corridor at several events, including participation on conference panels. The chairman of the Management Board took part in the inauguration function of the Gotthard Base Tunnel in Switzerland. The managing director served as a panel
member at the Dutch event on boosting international rail freight on 21 June 2016 and in the strategy part of the EU Rail Freight Day on 9 December 2016 in Vienna.
Marketing material was produced and distributed to cus- tomer and stakeholders during these event; these included giveaways, a Corridor calendar and the Annual Report.
The CIP was developed further, also for some topics in cooperation with RNE and the other RFCs, was made, for example regarding:
RFC Rhine-Alpine connection to Vlissingen – amend- ments in CIP map
Theme control for line properties in CIP map Multi-corridor view
