German and Dutch Ministries sign Declaration to promote rail freight
RFC Rhine Alpine highly welcomes the “Declaration of Intent on the cooperation in promoting rail freight operations” that was signed by the German and Dutch Ministries of Transport this week. The ministries acknowledged the importance of increasing the share of rail freight in the modal split, defined concrete measures and established a working group to support cooperation on multimodality, interoperability and digitalization. The Declaration is supported and signed by business representatives. The Corridor Rhine-Alpine appreciates this commitment to cross-border harmonisation and looks forward to jointly push for a shift to rail.
