For the second time running, all nine Rail Freight Corridors would like to initiate a coordinated consultation of all interested applicants, in order to collect your international capacity wishes and needs for the annual timetable 2020.
 
The result of this survey will be one of the main elements that the Rail Freight Corridors will use to build the PaP Catalogues for timetable 2020.

Unanimous acceptance of Handbook for International Contingency Management in RNE GA

On 16 May 2018 the Handbook for International Contingency Management was accepted unanimously in the RNE General Assembly.

Current Temporary Speed Restriction on Rhine strech

Due to a temporary disturbance resulting in temporary speed restrictions, DB Netz can not take up additional ad hoc traffic on the lines Cologne – Koblenz and Cologne – Niederlahnstein from now until 15 April 2018, 7:00. The Gotthard Base Tunnel Project received 2018 European Railway Award

RFC Rhine-Alpine congratulates Gotthard Base Tunnel Project and all participants. The eleventh edition of the award was held on 28 February in Brussels. The yearly award is organised by Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER) and the Union des Industries Ferroviares Européennes, the Association of the European Rail Industry (UNIFE).

Update RFI Alert: Suspension of the freight traffic repealed

"We’re glad to announce that, in the measure that the weather and traffic conditions will allow it, RFI will let all the programmed freight trains run. Under the overall coordination of RFI central Unit, the traffic replanning will be made in the regional operational units which all the Italian RUs have been warmely invited to attend."
