RFC Rhine-Alpine re-routing scenarios 2018
The international re-routing scenarios 2018 for RFC Rhine-Alpine are published on the RFC Customer Information Platform (CIP). They focus on RFC Rhine-Alpine sections for which re-routing possibilities are known to be limited. The scenarios have been developed by departments for traffic management, timetabling and infrastructure at the Infrastructure Manager partners of RFC Rhine-Alpine, also involving other RFCs. RFC Rhine-Alpine coordinated the process and compiled the provided information.
We publish both a pdf document with detailed information for each scenario (maps, infrastructure parameters, parking locations, special restrictions on deviation routes) and an excel document with the infrastructure parameters for all scenarios. The re-routing scenarios 2018 show the status quo. We are looking forward to discussions with Railway Undertakings, Transport Ministries and other stakeholders to improve (the use of) capacity on the deviation routes.
